Jeb Middlebrook, Ph.D. / Goals & Systems



Jeb Middlebrook, Ph.D. is an award-winning professor of Sociology at California State University, Dominguez Hills in Los Angeles, and is the Founder of SESSION. Jeb is also the Founding Principal of Middlebrook Research Associates LLC, an events-based market research firm. Dr. Middlebrook holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in American Studies and Ethnicity from the University of Southern California, and a B.A. in Ethnic Studies (Individually Designed Interdepartmental Major) from the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Middlebrook has been recognized by the Ford Foundation, the Council of Editors of Learned Journals, and ABC, NBC and MTV Networks. His work is published by American QuarterlyCultural Studies / Critical Methodologies, Qualitative Inquiry, Greenwood Press, and indexed by the MLA Bibliography. He has presented at Yale University, the University of Missouri, Kansas University, among other research universities.
